Speaker 1:

And welcome to another episode of the Gamer House podcast. My name is Roger. Along with me are my good friends and co-host I have Mike.

Speaker 2:

Hello, afternoon evening, whenever you're listening to the show Hope you're having a fantastic day. Thank you very much. Have a good night everybody.

Speaker 1:

Well, hey, the show's not over. Oh Well, welcome Mike, and I have the CEO, yes, and president of Gamerheads, phil.

Speaker 3:

It's like the bullshit version of Raven's entrance music at WCW. It's a cheap uh come-to-see-war ripoff. I can dig it. Mike's pissed that he didn't get entrance music.

Speaker 1:

What the hell man.

Speaker 2:

We were just like hey, welcome to the Gamerheads podcast. Here's Mike, you know, the guy who's been on all the different iterations of the Gamerhead podcast and this is funny, and this is funny to you. And again, the Nindy focus and all the game pass, pass, game show, all these other shows. Whoa. Now introducing from North Carolina.

Speaker 3:

Dakota Next week. I'm walking on camera, damn, and as soon as my music hits, I'm coming in.

Speaker 2:

Well, first of all, you know what this is. You know what this is. This is exactly. It's like going to an NBA basketball game or a baseball game and where they announced the other team. That was like playing first base.

Speaker 1:

That's where it was, and now?

Speaker 2:

ladies and gentlemen, you're going to play kickstart my heart as freaking Phil comes with, coming out like Goldberg, oh, my gosh, okay. So, first of all, not my fault.

Speaker 1:

Not my fault, because you know, I hey listen. No, the marketing department's like hey, the president wanted to talk and music.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I wait fills the marketing department, so you weren't on this film.

Speaker 3:

No, I had no idea that was happening until it happened. Oh well, anyway now put me out. Mike is just sitting there like this.

Speaker 1:

That's catchy, isn't it catchy? It's kind of. It's kind of like wrestling, right, it's kind of like a wrestling song.

Speaker 3:

I tell you, it's like the bullshit song that these for Raven WCW. It was like a cheap come as you are, rip off.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, that's that's where I was going for. So, oh well, welcome everybody. Welcome to our patrons as well. They're actually the ones that are the other reasons we have music. So, because we can afford to get music. Now, mike, if we get more patrons, you can also have a have a song.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

Wow, mike, just came the fuck out of you.

Speaker 1:

Well, welcome patrons, welcome. Special thanks to Jill Grote and Matt Storm. They are patrons on our Patreon and you can also join as well. For as little as $3 a month, you can join our Patreon and then help Mike get a song. Wouldn't that be great if we get three, three more patrons? Mike, you can all. You too can have a song.

Speaker 3:

I'm one after two, Mike. It's one after five.

Speaker 2:

Even the stretch goal. I'm the stretch goal, I get it.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, that's hilarious. Oh man, anyway, welcome to the show everybody. So, yeah, we have quite a bit to to go through. We'll talk about games that we're playing and we have a. I can't wait till we talk about the Tales from the eShop game Phil I can't wait. Yeah, we're getting out of that, that's right. That's right.

Speaker 3:

We can get a fake news song and Mike doesn't put an Adrian song. It's just keep getting crappier and crappier for Mike. So it's great morning talk show and Mike gets left out of the entire thing. It's like the guy in the helicopter reporting the traffic. It's like now, do you Mike?

Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

Speaker 1:

So the segment of the show. Oh my gosh, I'm going to read a couple of headlines and you have to tell me you both have to tell me whether those are real headlines from the news or if they are fake. And that has made them up. And if you get it right, you get a point. If you don't, obviously you don't get a point. So Mike, mike's Internet is going to crash at any given second.

Speaker 2:

Mike's not here man.

Speaker 1:

Mike, I'll start with you first. Pokemon sleep Pokemon sleep video game could make money off Insomniacs. Is that a real headline or am I making that one up?

Speaker 2:

It sounds like it could be real because money and everybody's out to make that cheddar cheese. So yeah, I'm going to say that's real.

Speaker 1:

Phil, what do you think?

Speaker 3:

I think, if anything, if it's a real headline, they're really, really stretching, because I have played Pokemon sleep every day since night one and there's not a lot to do in it. So I just don't see how people would even have the urge to spend real money on it. So I'm going to say it's a fake headline.

Speaker 1:

No, it is actually a real headline. That's the amount of New York Post and this is a real newspaper.

Speaker 1:

This is actual headlines, so out of that article I thought this was interesting. This is a quote from one of the experts they quoted. Is it going to help you sleep more? He's going by saying about the game. No, he says, because you're not doing anything different other than lying on the pillow with a phone next to your head, Said Dr David Can Ross, a faculty member at Toronto Metropolitan University. I think Pokemon is trying to make money off people that are insomniacs. He goes on to say I don't think they're offering a real solution. It might be helpful. I distrust the motivation. So that was their quote from their expert.

Speaker 3:

All right, this entire thing pisses me off. I'm done. Oh, wow, wow.

Speaker 1:

Wait, hold on what.

Speaker 3:

Does that make you happy, Like if the video comes back and then music kicks in? Not even right.

Speaker 1:

Does that make you happier though? A little bit yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, so it's one to nothing. Mike, you're winning.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, play some music. I don't feel like I'm winning. It's like you were hit by a car.

Speaker 1:

All right, phil, I'll let you answer this first one or this next one. First, the next headline I have here Zombie Lombas invade survival saga with hilarious Fortnite crossover event courtesy of Epic Games. Is that real or am I making that one up?

Speaker 3:

I don't know what any of that means, except for Fortnite. I try to. Well, I'm over that, so I'll say it's fake.

Speaker 1:

For no real good reason. All right, Mike.

Speaker 2:

Well, if he's going fake, then I'll go real.

Speaker 1:

Well, it is fake.

Speaker 2:

For no reason whatsoever.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, that's a fake headline. It would be cool to have Zombie Lombas, but that's not real. So all right, we have one to one, all right. Next headline I have here Destiny 2. Taps Keith David as Zavala Is that your pronounces name To replace the late Lance Reddick. Is that real or is that fake?

Speaker 2:

Reddick, that is 100% real. I was very excited and actually I'm very surprised, because for the longest time I thought that Keith David was the voice of Zavala. So, there's only so. Yeah, that's a perfect, that's a good call, that is 100% real.

Speaker 1:

Bill.

Speaker 3:

I believe I read that headline today as well.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it is a real headline. That is true. That's a true statement that came out of, I mean, a lot of places, but that's when I saw Kataku, the next one, it's looking to fake websites. Time Warp tournament in Chrono Clash Players. Chrono Clash Sorry, players compete across ages, from Knights to Cyborgs, in Capcom's latest game. Is that fake or real? Phil, is that fake or real?

Speaker 3:

Real, why not? Okay Again, I don't know what those words mean.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to go with fake because I thought I would have heard of that if Capcom did something interesting.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's a fake headline, Made that one up. So, all right, mike is winning two to one. All right, I'm going to go with fake One here. Square Enix partners with Disney for Realm Keepers Chronicles of Radiance. Mike, is that real or fake?

Speaker 2:

I'm going to go with fake again only because once again, I haven't heard that. That's also because I really don't care about Square or Disney, but that's beside the point. Yeah, I'm going with fake.

Speaker 1:

All right.

Speaker 3:

Bill Going fake as well, because almost anything Disney does makes it somewhere on some sort of social media feed of mine and I didn't see anything about that. But then again, even if it was, I probably wouldn't have paid attention because again the word Square Enix were connected to it, kind of like Mike was saying, but I still feel like I would have noticed it. It is fake.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you both got that one right, so that leads us to three to two Mike leading and the next one. Next headline here is WrestleQuest, delayed to August 22nd. Is that real or fake? Mike, real or fake?

Speaker 2:

I know it was delayed, but I don't know if it was August 22nd. I thought it was the 28th for some reason, so I'm going to go fake.

Speaker 1:

All right Phil.

Speaker 3:

I feel as though the 20 seconds the actual date on the delay.

Speaker 1:

So you're going real. Yeah, it is real, that's true, that's true statement. So, yeah, so interesting thing about this. Here's a little quote from them. This is actually a statement from MegaCat Studios. When performing final checks on one of our launch platforms, we discovered it was possible for players to lose their save game progress when playing WrestleQuest on multiple different devices, because this is a game filled with hours of content and player progress is important. We could never body slam our fans like that. We are truly proud of this game and believe that we have a product that delivers on all accounts. We're blown away by the support we've seen from players excited for WrestleQuest and we can't wait to share the finished game with everyone on August 27th, so literally the day that the embargo ended and there was reviews coming out. They delayed the game. So interesting, all right, so it's tied three to three. And finally, the last one here Sony Interactive Teases Horizon Nexus. Next installment of the Beloved Action RPG series Is that real or fake Phil, that's real.

Speaker 1:

That's real, mike.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to go real as well, only because Phil seems so confident in his answer. I'm going to ride those coattails.

Speaker 1:

It's actually fake. I made that one up. It's my poker face, mike oh yeah, no that's. I just made that one up. There's no such thing, all right, well, it's a tie game. Look at that. Doesn't that make you feel good, mike, that you didn't lose?

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Now have an orange slice.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, a circus peanut. That's going to shit up.

Speaker 3:

We hear camera heads can't even afford real oranges, that's right. That's right, you get a circus peanut.

Speaker 1:

If we get another Patreon we might be able to, but yeah, at this point we can't. So all right, let's move on to games that we're currently playing. This is so fucking weird, man, I bought you. It scares me every time I got you what up, mike, we'll start with you. What games are you playing?

Speaker 2:

So I have been getting back into tears of the kingdom and because because for my birthday I got a big old, super thick Strategy guide. Oh happy birthday, thank you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm a strategic, Thank you, Tharnky. So I, yeah, so I've been using my uh strategy guide and just been going around. I just finished. Um, there was that one mission where there's that seaside town that was taken over by monsters, and not only do you have to clear out the monsters, but you also have to rebuild the town.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I just rebuilt the town.

Speaker 2:

That was a lot of fun. I did that Doing a lot of just running around. I'm still not anywhere close to like. I feel bad for Zelda. She's like stuck in, you know, like stuck in like 1955 or something like that, and I'm just uh, you know, just just run around doing my own thing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But I you know um exploring the underground, all that other good stuff. So I'm playing a lot of, uh more tears of the kingdom. I've also been playing getting back into fall guys, uh a lot more especially now. I just heard today that apparently fall guys is the latest um video game to do a collaboration with the Ninja Turtles.

Speaker 2:

So, we might be seeing some turtle skins, uh, hopefully soon. So that should be exciting. Um and then, other than that, I've been so I've just been just been watching a lot of, uh, horror movies. Mostly I've been, I've been on a horror kick. So, actually I might. If we can get out of here early enough, I might go see that. Um that, uh, there's a vampire movie that comes out tonight.

Speaker 1:

The last voyage of something, something, yep, yeah, wow, cool, uh T, did you get the? Did you get the wrestlers skins, the macho man and mankind skins? You didn't.

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 3:

Were those for purchase or were those for uh? Yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, they're purchase. Purchase only. Yeah, Uh, cause I think you could buy all of them, but I think it was Bianca. Um, well, you use right, yeah, you can.

Speaker 2:

I'm don't mean to interrupt, but I'm interrupting anyway, you can use like you don't like. It's not like you go and buy them. You buy the show, bucks to buy just like in Fortnite. Yeah, so if you log on to Fortnite, you might. I don't know how many show bucks you have, but if you have enough to purchase it, you could do that. Otherwise you can buy them.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, uh. It's weird, though, because there are skins that you actually have to spend real money on, like they'll be like oh, this is 999. And then it comes with a thousand.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, show bucks, yeah, um, so I did, I got. I got Macho man and I got uh and I got uh mankind Cause, like I didn't, I didn't have enough money to well, enough bucks to buy the whole pack, so you could buy like two, or you could buy all four. I don't remember who the fourth person was is Bianca Belair, and I don't remember who the other person was. I don't remember, but oh, it was Ray Mysterio.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah. So yeah, I think it was. I think it was mankind and Macho man work together. I think that's what it was. So, uh, but yeah, that was pretty cool. Uh, I know you kind of said this, but anything else.

Speaker 2:

Uh no.

Speaker 1:

Oh you, your. Your review of a Antstream Arcade is up.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's right. Yeah, my review for Antstream Arcade, and the developers liked it, so they made me feel special about things. Yes, um, I played a little bit of that. You know, like every time I started up there's something new that I didn't remember where that was. I'm like oh, that's on here, I'm going to try playing Operation Wolf with a controller.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And kind of work, because I lasted just about as long with the controller as I do in the arcade with the real light gun.

Speaker 1:

Yeah that, yeah, it's fun. And then did you see the Akari Warriors uh tournament that they had?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that was another classic that.

Speaker 1:

I loved is the.

Speaker 2:

NES.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, uh, I think these are like arcade versions of these games, right, cause they're not the NES versions. I think, right, they're the arcade versions, cause the graphics are pretty decent actually.

Speaker 2:

They're they're yeah, they're the arcade versions.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

If you want the NES version. I think there's a switch game called the SNK collection and that has original. Akari Warriors, all three of them on there, yeah, yeah, and I think in my opinion is a very underrated NES game.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a good game. Yeah, that's the 40th anniversary, I think, nsk, 40th SNK. Oh, sorry, 40th anniversary. Uh, which way, we actually reviewed for Gamerheads when it came out. Uh, what was your final review for Antstream?

Speaker 2:

Um A minus.

Speaker 1:

Nice, yeah, that's a cool game. Uh, phil, what have you been playing?

Speaker 3:

Well, I played a quick round of Vampire Survivors the other day because I kind of just had that itch and had a half hour to kill. It was nice to get back into it and play with a new character with the spell song thing Couldn't tell you anybody's name Unlocked six more achievements for it while doing so. So that was awesome. Uh, and that just the usual. And then I got into Bramble today. I don't know if you guys know what Bramble?

Speaker 2:

is oh, yeah, I saw that that's, yeah, that's, that's uh the band that sings Black Buddy right.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, uh. No, it's very kind of limbo-y inside-ish. Uh but kind of a story about two kids, oh yeah, in a forest, and I want to say, like it's in Norway, go ahead, mike. It's on Game Pass right, yeah, it's on Game Pass.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and it looks real creepy, with like creepy lady coming out of the swamp or something like that.

Speaker 3:

It's super pretty man, uh, so it's a tale of Ollie and Lil' Amore, I believe is the sister's name, hmm, and Ollie wakes up and Lil' Amore is gone, so he goes on a quest to find her and then he gets somehow gets shrunken down and I don't really recall how that happened. And then you go and you explore your way through the forest and you come across, uh, she gets kidnapped by a giant troll-like creature, uh, which is super creepy looking as well. Uh, but graphically this game is absolutely stunning, stunning, stunning, like the backgrounds are just super impressive and very, very immersive and interactive as well. Um, like I said, it's kind of just in vain of that limbo slash, uh, inside, outside, inside of a type of a type of a game where it's puzzly, platformy, controls on it are a little bit wonky and kind of trash, and I've done it a handful of times just because the jumping isn't very accurate, which is too bad, but it's nothing that's like game breakingly bad, it's just occasionally a frustration.

Speaker 3:

Uh, the puzzles have all been pretty basic so far, but the vibe of the game, especially when the troll shows up, or just eerie as hell and super creepy, but the lighting is fantastic and I can't wait to get more into this. I think it's about five hours long. I'd say I'm probably at about the halfway point. I put about two and a half hours into it and I've I've adored every second that I've played of it so far.

Speaker 1:

Nice, that's still on game pass right now, right.

Speaker 3:

I mean, it just came out like two weeks ago. I want to say so. It's pretty new. Two, three weeks ago it came out nice Awesome. But it's always checking out if you're into that kind of a game or if you just want to really visually stunning game to play, like water effects will blow your mind. Everything about it is just remarkable and the soundtrack is all orchestrate, orchestra and very well done as well. Like it's, it's a super well done game, with the exception of the controls being a little bit on the sloppy side.

Speaker 1:

Cool. Yeah, that's game that's on my list that I need to play. Yeah, check it out, man, you'll dig up Nice.

Speaker 3:

Anything else? Nope, new season of Overwatch started today, so I'll be spending a lot of time with that, because that's what I do and because I hate myself.

Speaker 2:

You know, it's funny that you hate yourself. No, it's funny that you saw that you were talking about Overwatch. No, it's funny that you mentioned that, because I never seen this before. But I was driving home the other day and there was an Overwatch billboard.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I never saw that. I've never seen it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I took a picture, but I'll send it to you in the chat. But it was an Overwatch billboard or Overwatch 2, and on the top left it had the Xbox logo, like it would have been at the top of a game. You know like a box art.

Speaker 1:

Really interesting. I mean so funny. I mean I guess, phil, I'd be, maybe you know. I mean, are they that hard up that they are? Like we have to advertise every way possible because nobody's playing this?

Speaker 3:

game or what. Yeah, their player base is way down and it's very obvious when you're playing comp as well, like it's not in great shape.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, go ahead and check your phones.

Speaker 3:

It's still super fun to play, but do you think, do they have?

Speaker 1:

because I remember I'll be down back. We watched, like what the tournament? I mean the eSports, like do they have eSports for the second?

Speaker 3:

one for yeah, they'd still carry on. I think they pulled the funding for it pretty recently though.

Speaker 3:

So I think it's going away, like in October I thought I had read that, or Andy had told me that. One of the two, I don't really know, but I had heard it's going away. The Overwatch League is, and I don't know if it's because of the waning of the popularity game, but they've pissed off such a huge chunk of their fan base with what they did with Overwatch 2 and even like they just they introduced story mode into this new, current season. Six is what it is, but in order to play the missions and story mode, it's $15 to buy the past, to play those, plus your $10 game pass if you want to get, or the battle pass if you want the battle pass and all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 1:

And I'm stupid enough to do it. The game is free. The game is free, though.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the game is free, so it's like log this additional content and it costs you $15 to play story missions, but my Microsoft store isn't working right now today for some reason, and so I can't buy either of them. So it's just, I'm just annoyed with everything and I got hit by a car, so there's that. Oh yeah, it's not a day, yeah, but you got a vacuum. I got a vacuum. I was gonna look for a Sven Gully for Mike too, and after I got clipped I forgot to look for Sven Gully. Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

I don't think Sven Gully is out yet, so Okay, it's supposed to come out in August. It's like Sven Gully and I've got the other two. But yeah, that's all right, we'll find them Anything else?

Speaker 1:

Probably not, probably not. Okay, so for myself, I so right now on Steam there is a visual novel fest going on. So now apparently there's like remember, they have Steam Fest. So now, maybe this has always been this, maybe I just never paid attention, I don't know but now there's visual novel fest. I guess next month is strategy fest, I don't know. That's weird, but yeah, but I've been playing this visual novel because it's their demos and so it's only one chapter, but I want my visual novel face.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this one is actually really cool. It's called Cabaret. Yeah, yeah, you are a vampire and so you die in the beginning of the game. Yeah yeah, there's the eulogy of your character and you. It's so cool when, so that they're giving you a legit and you can help pick like, like aspects of yourself. So like the uncle's, given the eulogy and he said, oh, when she was young, lisa. And then it says do you like music or you had an aptitude for like science or whatever? So you pick those things and it puts points into different categories and as you play through the game you earn experience and you level up those different categories and then, if you have certain points, high enough points in those categories. Then you can actually use those to unlock different conversations with people or maybe you observe different things. Like it's really cool. I like the fact that they're tying in like role play aspects, role playing aspects into a visual novel. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Speaker 1:

So that's called Cabaret. Oh, it's called Cabaret because they don't want to call it blood, or like these Vampires Sector. Like we kind of feel weird about calling it bloods. We just call it Cabaret instead. So it's kind of yeah, so it's cool, though I mean, the artwork is fantastic. I really like the artwork. I like the game and the story is really intriguing. I can't wait for this to come out. It only have, like I said, it's only the first chapter on Steam right now is available as a demo, but I'm looking forward to that game. I think it's coming out next year. Bro Force is on Game Pass. I almost downloaded it too. Oh my God, I was playing that today, so good.

Speaker 2:

I forgot how good that game is.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that game is so good. I think they're calling Bro Force forever, so I think it must be like, and then I don't know, maybe it's just the Xbox edition, I don't know, but it's really good. I remember when we reviewed that game for Nindy Focus, but now, now it's on the Game Pass. That game is fantastic. So, yeah, I've been playing that. And then, mike, I've also been playing a little bit of Fall Guys as well. So today I played it and I made it to the last level or last challenge or whatever you call it, and it was down to me and the other guy and I accidentally stepped off and fell off the side. It was like the you know, the floors are falling and you had these little bombs you had to throw at each other.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I like that one.

Speaker 1:

And I was standing in the circle there was like a circle that wasn't going to fall, because it's like that's where all the balls are supposed to end up and I accidentally just took one step. I was trying to dodge the ball and I took one step and I fell off the thing and I was like no, so so close to winning my first solo Fall Guys, yeah, but like we've won. We won as pairs or duels and teams.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but still haven't got my solo one, and there's one other game I've been playing. I can't talk about it though right now, because it's under embargo but?

Speaker 1:

but the other cool thing, I think you guys know this, but I am going to Pax West and boy, I am getting bombarded with all these opportunities, which is awesome because I want to play all these games. But I have to be. I cannot do what I did at Pax East and just sign up for everything and, like every half hour, go to a different one. I can't do that again, because that was that. That was insane. So I'm trying to be strategic, but it's really hard, because a lot of these games look so cool and I really want to like meet with the developers and talk about them, but I have to, I have to pace myself. So, anyway, that's, that's the other game I'm playing pace myself.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, you know what the most important thing to do is right.

Speaker 3:

Hydrate.

Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, okay, the second most important thing.

Speaker 1:

Swag bag. Swag bag. Yes, I need to bring a swag bag.

Speaker 2:

Oh, this is what this is, what this, that's what this is about. Roger Finkton Internet outage.

Speaker 3:

Mike's like bring me back some shit. Oh, my Internet. Look at that oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, it's funny about that actually, because I was saying, and you didn't hear me, I have a pin for you from Pax East.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Just save it for the yeah, yeah, I should just have a collection.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, just have just get wait till after Pax get this whole swag bag together and send it off. Carry your pigeon over to me.

Speaker 1:

Okay, all right. Well, that's the games we're playing. Let's move into our next segment, which is hold on, which is buy it or leave it. That's right, we got the games coming out.

Speaker 3:

I was going to mention with the. Hawaiian shirt. If you would have worn me out of war in a Hawaiian shirt too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so our segment by the leave it we talk about the games are coming out next week, so the week of August 14th through the 19th.

Speaker 3:

There goes the couple games here.

Speaker 1:

Are you serious?

Speaker 3:

You got a little choppy on my end, but maybe Mike didn't hear it, maybe it was just my end. Nope, mike says you're good, you're good.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so the first game that I have listed here is ever space. That's coming out on PlayStation 5, xbox Series X and S on the 15th of August. Are you buying this mic or are you leaving it?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I am excited about this because I mean, this is what was it like? 1988, I think. So we haven't seen a sequel to that awesome movie with Martin Short and Ryan.

Speaker 1:

So yeah.

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 1:

No, I'm sorry. What are you talking about? That's inner space, that's inner space. This is ever space. I'm sorry.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it has nothing to do with that classic movie.

Speaker 1:

I'm sorry, no.

Speaker 2:

No, I believe in it.

Speaker 1:

Okay, it's coming on Game Pass. Does it make you change your mind?

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 3:

Okay, phil, I've never seen the Foo Fighters in concerts, so I'm excited for it.

Speaker 1:

Again, ever, ever space ever space.

Speaker 3:

So it's not a Foo Fighters tour.

Speaker 1:

It's not, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3:

I don't know what it is.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I actually think I'm going to play this one. I like this. I liked the first game and I'm going to pick up the second game.

Speaker 3:

What was the first one? Limited space, ever space one this one's just called ever space. They dropped the one. Who the fuck named this shit?

Speaker 1:

No, it's too, it's too.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I didn't catch that I just got. It was ever space.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's too yeah, yeah, no, it's ever space too Side note yeah, did you know that ever long is a song about Louise Post, one of the two lead singers of Veruca Salt.

Speaker 1:

Is it really? No, I didn't know.

Speaker 2:

She and Dave Grohl were dating at the time and it was kind of like after they broke up. So that was his like therapy, was he wrote that song?

Speaker 1:

Wow, I did not know that.

Speaker 3:

Did he fight the C there?

Speaker 1:

No that.

Speaker 2:

Yes, he apparently did yeah.

Speaker 3:

Interesting OK.

Speaker 1:

Next game moving out to that's coming on out on PlayStation 5, xbox series, x, x and S, playstation 4, xbox one switch and PC. August 15th. Have either played, moving out one, the first one, yeah, I did. Yeah, I didn't yeah, oh, mike, are you gonna get this? No, I'm then.

Speaker 2:

I say no, I haven't played the first one, I'll be completely lost. I.

Speaker 1:

Don't think so. I don't think so. It's like, it's like overcooked, except moving right.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think you'll be fine.

Speaker 3:

Phil, I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna pick it up until they release the rest of the title, because I don't know where they're moving out to. Oh.

Speaker 1:

That's true. I Want to play this game because my kids absolutely loved the first one.

Speaker 3:

If it's game and definitely play it. Don't get me wrong.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, if it's going to game pass, I agree, the kids loved the first one and we laughed so hard at the first one, so I'm, I'm, I'm excited for the second one too. Uh, here's the one that was just announced, or at least, I just saw recently red dead redemption coming out on PlayStation 4 and switch the original. Playstation 4 the original.

Speaker 3:

The second one? The original. No, it wouldn't have been, because that would have been on the other three, 16 as well. Okay, Interesting.

Speaker 1:

So yes, it's coming on PlayStation 4 and the switch on the 17th of August. Wait, the PlayStation, not even the five.

Speaker 2:

No no backwards compatibility, I'm assuming.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, probably, mike. Are you buying this?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, this is a dilly of a pickle, because I love red dead redemption and I Really, and I never got through the undead nightmare DLC, oh that was awesome. Yeah, yes.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I never played through that and I always wanted to, but at the same time it's a much better experience on the Xbox because they, they up, you know, they up the the resolution of the frame rate.

Speaker 2:

Yeah so I Don't know, I don't know that's. It's a tough one. Because I love red dead reduction the original and was one of my favorite games ever. I, honestly, I'm gonna, I'm gonna pass, for I'm just gonna pass because I have no need to play it on the switch or the ps4 when I can have a better experience on the Xbox.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I should. I should also say the undead Undead night DLC is also coming. Yeah, that's also coming out?

Speaker 3:

Is it just attached or is it like a game of the year edition or whatever?

Speaker 1:

Is it? Is it the game of the year? I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's, it's red redemption and American nightmare DLC. Okay that was a joke. It's not American nightmare, that's Cody Rhodes.

Speaker 1:

I oh, that's funny. That's right, I almost didn't catch you yeah.

Speaker 3:

So as much as I would love to play red deaded all the way through again, I don't have that kind of time and I don't even know if I could turn on my PlayStation 4 and it not be angry at me, and I'm definitely not gonna be, on the fucking switch.

Speaker 1:

I Also. I'm not gonna pick this game up because, yeah, same thing, mike. I mean I can play in the Xbox. Let's play it there. The last one that I have listed here. I'm assuming you're both gonna say yes to this the Texas chainsaw massacre coming out on the 18th on PlayStation 5, xbox series X and S, playstation 4 X, fox one and PC. Mike Saying I'm assuming, yes, you know it. Absolutely man.

Speaker 2:

I am. I am excited for this. I can't wait. It'll be nice to have the one thing I as much as I loved Friday the 13th. I did not like playing as Jason because to me it was too stressful, just to have absolutely six on one, have three on three. That that makes things a little bit better. So yeah. I'm looking forward to playing this actually to you know what it's funny you mentioned this because yesterday I pre Downloaded it.

Speaker 1:

I did two days ago or so, oh, really sit down my Xbox.

Speaker 2:

So I'm just waiting for the green light and then Do some chaining and sawing is it coming on? Game oh, it is right now for free.

Speaker 1:

Oh.

Speaker 3:

Nice so failure saying yep, I've already got a download as well, yeah, I probably won't play this one. Come on, we got three right here I was going to find three against.

Speaker 2:

It's not like. This is like a game like Outlast or something like that. It's not even a dead space.

Speaker 1:

All right, all right, all right All right, if you guys play it, I'll play with you guys. That's fair good, all right, those are the last games, and now I guess we'll move into our last say oh my internet, which? Which?

Speaker 3:

is from the e-shop.

Speaker 1:

Yes, our tails from the e-shop, by the way, if you're wondering, that's all my voice, by the way, all those things, yeah, that was me laughing. Uh, phil, or Mike, I guess. What do we give? What do we give Phil?

Speaker 2:

last week, Uh, herpes, that was gonna be my exact answer. Yeah, this game. Phil run the same page. There's no doubt, man yeah so the game we, yeah Picked for Phil is a little game. It's a family friendly title fun for the whole family Called a hentai world. Just feel weird saying it. Here we go. Here's the description.

Speaker 3:

Talk about it, man. I'm the one who has to talk about what I experienced.

Speaker 1:

It's gonna be like put.

Speaker 3:

Vietnam veterans have talk like sit down in therapy and talk about what they went through.

Speaker 2:

I'm just gonna have that thousand yard stare.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Sink into the familiar anime art style, familiar of hentai world.

Speaker 1:

I was familiar to all of us. I don't care what you say, A lot of blue girl if you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2:

Progress through the story by solving all puzzles. These lovely girls will keep you company. Increasing difficulty you need to stay focused to truly enjoy the journey ahead. The difficulty will increase depending on the Outfit of the girl you're helping out. Every success on your part will make them happier. Key features hand drawn. Just one hand drawn hentai art. Relaxing music track almost 50 art pieces to unlock there's music gameplay mechanics, unique premise, red shoe diaries.

Speaker 1:

Cinemax after dark. Yeah, that's right. That's really what this game is. All right, phil, did these people do these.

Speaker 2:

Did these ladies keep you?

Speaker 1:

company. Yeah, did the police knock on your door?

Speaker 2:

Oh, phil's drinking. He's trying to remember it.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

Speaker 3:

The time was 1015 am on Wednesday.

Speaker 1:

August 10th 2023.

Speaker 3:

Which point I was.

Speaker 1:

Rachel around. Oh God no.

Speaker 3:

I'm so thankful she wasn't I debated, playing it when she was around. That I'm very glad that she was not around, and I'm actually kind of mad at myself for not having deleted this from the switch already. Oh, not that I'm necessarily ashamed of such things. But this would have been one where she'd be like what the fuck are you playing and why? And I'd have been like no, it's for the podcast. Should have been like yeah right yeah right Podcast. Yeah, I honestly don't even know where to start with this. There's a menu, what's?

Speaker 1:

the premise what how do, like, what is it? Yeah, yeah, what are you doing?

Speaker 2:

Play the game. Is it even a game?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, is it intriguing. Is it unique? What was it unique? What you mean? Game or something? Routemunic premise?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so there's a menu in which point one of the overly developed females is grabbing one of the other overly developed females Oversize mammary gland At which point you press a and then there's 123456. Six pictures that pop up. You can press the I'm going to call it the right bumper, because I use an adult controller when I play games and you can slide over and there's another six more pictures and another six more pictures after that, and so I went back to the only one that actually there were two unlocked numbers. One, one and 18 were unlocked. So I went back and I clicked on number one, at which point girl and I, if I remember correctly, wearing like almost like a gala or a prom style dress approaches me and says no, it's not even approaches me, because there's no fucking animation in this entire game is drawn there and there's a little word bubble that comes out and says something along the lines of oh boy, that was fun. My corset is too tight, can you help me get it off?

Speaker 3:

Oh well, at which point it turns into a nine piece, like the sliding squares puzzle, where there's a blank thing and you got to put the thing together.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, put the thing together and she goes.

Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you, that was so helpful. I am much more comfortable. Now is now like her corset is off and now we're closer a little bit more. Looser Boy, it sure is hot in here. Maybe I should get rid of this dress too. Now a four by four puzzle pops up and put it all back together again.

Speaker 3:

Repeat ad nauseam through four until they're either completely naked or just wearing a bottom piece. What? Yeah, there's nipples in this game. Dude, there's a lot of nipples. Are you serious? Did you not see the pictures that I sent in the screen chat?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, of course yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's. There's a sign to them.

Speaker 1:

You see, you just get the pictures.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah Well they show you the picture, the nipples, and then you put it together and then she says something like, oh, come here, tiger, and pulls you. Well, she doesn't pull you in because, again, there's no animation, but all the things that these females say to you are super lewd and oh, it's just, it's a very uncomfortable experience and that's from somebody who has been through a lot of uncomfortable experiences.

Speaker 3:

Normally they're not with animated drawings and I I'm not one to kink shame anybody or like fetish shame anybody, but it's just animated females are not. They're not my jam. And this is a basic little puzzle game where, if you pay attention to it, you watch the thing slide and you just do it in the reverse order and it's there. It's like it'll take like seven moves on the puzzle to like slide it. You're just like. I don't think this game is about the puzzles. It's definitely not.

Speaker 1:

This is not really about much of the puzzles.

Speaker 3:

But then the thing is like this is the world edition or whatever. Yeah, this is the fucked up thing. But not even all of the characters are unlocked or all the puzzles are unlocked in the definitive edition. You got to download more through the switch if you want to see these other five ones. Yeah, it's a oh what?

Speaker 1:

This is the definitive edition people.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but then there's like the $45 one which I'm assuming is assuming is all inclusive, because this one was only the $15 one, which is on sale for $2. I was, I really fought with the urge to make the joke of. This is one of the very few games that I actually beat, but then you know there's too much in your window. They just Thank you and how. The puzzles were very hard. But yeah, the puzzles were super basic and I did not beat the game or it. Well, play in the game.

Speaker 2:

You need to get the one of. Krusty where he's just like.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I will say I I am so sorry, I actually feel bad for you.

Speaker 2:

I apologize I know it's an experiment. It's how we know these things. It's definitely the way.

Speaker 3:

I should have known at that point when I started playing it. There was gonna be a hit by a fucking car today.

Speaker 1:

But that way, oh yeah, this is how your day is going to be.

Speaker 3:

It's gonna be like just the beginning of the tell all of my good days, like oh yeah, I'm gonna play some anti definitive world edition. Wow, so that I decided I was just gonna watch some high anti tag team matches from the WWE and it kind of was a palette cleanser.

Speaker 1:

That's good.

Speaker 2:

So where would you put this on your scale with with your history of? Making anime games of this game. Why fool uncovered?

Speaker 3:

why fooling our superior game? Oh, what would you?

Speaker 2:

give life covered just out of curiosity.

Speaker 3:

Like one to 10 a to f. Yeah, I don't really remember.

Speaker 1:

I remember a to f because that's what we do I remember the game?

Speaker 3:

being pretty solid and it just with the naked people in the background I made it better, which, yeah, I mean for the most part. No, it would have been like an actual picture, Like do you remember the things that they used to have at bars, like the little touch?

Speaker 1:

master things and you could like match the whatever is like.

Speaker 3:

If it would have been like an actual picture in the background, it would have been a different story and it wouldn't have been quite as weird.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3:

But like gameplay wise, why phone covered was actually pretty solid gameplay wise. So I mean I'd give it a solid, I'd give it a throbbing B plus. But this is just like straight up. The puzzle mechanic works but it's bullshit and it just traces you through it like I mean it's. Unless you're really into overly curvy, small, wasted, large butted, large breasted anime characters, this is not the game for you. Where it's even even if it would have been what am I? Rainforest creatures that I was doing puzzles of like it's the mechanic itself is still a D because it just wasn't that challenging.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it wasn't like a rubric against.

Speaker 3:

It wasn't like a Rubik's cube or the more you play with it, the harder it gets. Okay, I might be done now.

Speaker 1:

Well, how does this rank against all the other games you've played, like against, like I saw, or what was that game called?

Speaker 3:

I exercise I exercise. I exercise was at least a little bit more of a game than this will still be in, pointless and menial. Oddly, I might rank this above it because that game was such shit that was a rank with the toilet paper game the toilet paper game was rad so what be?

Speaker 2:

so, basically, what you're saying is, when it come December, when we, when we do fills top 10 worst eShop games of the high-speed number one of the.

Speaker 3:

It's not number one and I have to go back and look to get a lot of things that I just kind of forget, like a war of it.

Speaker 1:

His gangster life was fucking awful too all that's true, that's that game, yeah, that. But the worst part about it like at least with this game, like they're not hiding it, like this is not a game, no, you're buying it for a reason like gangster life I feel like it was like they tried to hype it up like, yeah, you can go do all these missions, you can do all the stuff, and it's like high quality, and it wasn't right. No, no, I mean. Yeah, I mean this game at least hit its intended audience.

Speaker 3:

I'm not gonna lie that yeah, this game is very real about what it is, and it's just it's for those that are into, into, into hentai, which more part of those that are. It's, it's hard. It's a harmless form of entertainment. I guess weird. I just justified people that are into hentai I don't even know what to save up myself anymore might think less of me and I already growing on. I already hate myself and I think less of myself now.

Speaker 1:

So we're really making progress what do we have in store for door number one?

Speaker 2:

all right. So, phil, I felt bad for you so door number one, just you know, just normally has nothing to do with the game. I just feel bad for you. So we're doing a bit of a palette cleanser. So door number one and door number two are both that. There's no like surprise behind door number two.

Speaker 2:

So just you know so yeah, basically these ones, I think, are not gonna be terrible. So, door number one is a game called actually. So let's see, it's $1.99 right now. 67% off sale ends August 31st. Normally it's $5.99 on the switch. The game is called the ramp, our AMP. The ramp is a minimalist, digital vertical skateboarding toy that's all about pure flow. Designed by a skater for skateboard lovers, the ramp offers satisfying and unique gameplay, with tricks that are easy to learn but hard to master. No unlockables, scores or missions, just you aboard and the chance to shred, spin and slide through a half pipe without the extra gaming fluff. It says it takes about a half an hour to beat the game. It's basically like if you've ever played Tony Hawk on the Game Boy Advance or if you've ever just played the half pipe level of TNC surf design, or there's no score. It's essentially just skateboarding on a half pipe. Looks like there's a pool in there as well, and that's it. So it's. It's the definition of a palette cleanser.

Speaker 1:

I'm go ahead, roger. What can I just say? One thing before you make your decision here no, I said go ahead, roger last week. I okay, I I've heard bad things about this game.

Speaker 3:

Just gonna say that right now well, what I was gonna say is they just as much as, like, the skateboarding aspect of Tony Hawk was kind of the key of the game. Also, part of the key of the game of Tony Hawk to me was the high score. Challenges was the unlocking of other boards, other characters and things like that. So they took away a lot of what I found, what I personally enjoyed of the Tony Hawk games. So I was gonna pass on the ramp just because of that aspect. Like when you're telling me that you're getting rid of, I'm gonna say I'm a guy that likes to collect things in games, obviously, which is why I play all these stupid games and why I keep playing the show and building my team and collecting all these cards and shit. Like you take that aspect out of it and I'm out like if it was just baseball game. I'm not playing it. So unfortunately I'm gonna have to pass on the ramp, as is how it cleans, as it sounds okay, all right so the romp.

Speaker 3:

It is a puzzle game about.

Speaker 2:

I hope you like big butts and you cannot lie or something anyway. So this next game is a little bit different. It is $2.49. It's 90% off. Normally it's 24.99, it's on the switch. Let's see, here we go. Description you are left alone in the jungle, without any food or equipment. That's trying, trying to survive and find your way out, clinging to life. The player is set on a journey of durability, as the effects of solitude we're heavy not only on the body but also on the mind. How long can you survive against the dangers of the unknown? On this journey, you won't get any help from the outside world, equipped with only your bare hands. You'll have to learn actual survival techniques to build shelters, make tools and craft weapons in order to hunt and defend yourself, constantly threatened by the jungle. You'll fight with both wild animals and tropical sicknesses players also have.

Speaker 2:

Players will also have to face the traps set by your own mind and fears that crawl in the darkness of the endless jungle story.

Speaker 2:

You are thrown deep into the emerald and impenetrable Amazonian rainforest, the green hell. Your goal is to survive the depths of a nightmarish environment using truly intuitive means to escape, having only a radio at your disposal. You'll follow the familiar voice of a loved one through this endless and inhospitable jungle, unveiling bit by bit how you got there in the first place. What you discover will be worse than what you fought so hard against to survive okay the question where can the human mind wander?

Speaker 2:

game pillars, realistic sim, survival sim use of use of true survival techniques, including starting fires, camp building, animal traps, construction, sourcing and composing objects allowing survival, including weapons and tools, food sourcing, hunting and cropping, wound disease and other injuries treatment.

Speaker 3:

Depending on the situation, the game is called green hell it's also currently a swamp thing series going on yeah, looks like a more realistic Minecraft okay when I say realistic, I mean graphics are realistic yeah, crafting games are not necessarily my forte and they kind of are a turn off to me, but I'll give this a go and hopefully I can survive green hell better than I can survive my own personal mental health oh, I'm excited.

Speaker 2:

I saw this game.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I actually thought this game looked kind of cool. I'm excited to hear what for us to say about it you want the early summary no, I want, I want to I want to play it.

Speaker 3:

I will play it. I'm just gonna tell you that I typically suck at thinking and crafting things oh well, but this is survival in a jungle, so much easier there yeah yeah, suppose of the prairie right.

Speaker 1:

Well, before we head out here, let's tell people how they can find us on the social media. And, mike, how can people find you on social media? You?
